funeral director

Losing a loved one is always hard, whether you have had to deal with loss before or not, so don't try to be a rock, take the time to grieve. An obituary can be a very personal look at a life.

As much as the poem is written as a tribute to the deceased, it should also be considered as a reassurance to the living. Hopefully you have the love and support of family and friends throughout this painful time. Choose funeral poems which aren't too long, just in case you can't finish them.

Eulogy poems have a global message that crosses cultural boundaries. If you are still looking for funeral poems, I have written more on the subject which I hope you may find useful. Many families and friends choose to write their own poems or essays about the deceased to have read at memorial services or posted on online memorial sites.

No one will be timing you, with a stopwatch, so take your time. And it doesn't end after death.
