funeral tributes

The best poems for funerals are ones which you can visualize your loved one through, a certain word, phrase or even the entire poem should feel as if it was written about them. They have a lot of positive effect because something which is beautifully written and sensible expressed can actually have a soothing effect on the bereaving.

These three words are enough to convey to the grieving person that you understand the importance of the deceased person in his life and that you share his sadness. In trying times it can be a struggle to keep your composure, however making notes will help you focus. All you have to do is write and talk from your heart, and let your audience identify with your memories and emotions.

If you don t have a well known funeral home in your town, then talk to friends and family who can give suggestions. Using poetry to help with grief, to express love or pain and to memorialize a friend or family member is very powerful and will be appreciated by others who have experienced a loss. Some people actually find it easier to stick to a theme, during the writing process, making it a bit easier for the words to flow.

So we believe that there is a brighter and wider home beyond death, a new way and place to live after we die. Humor is an appropriate way to celebrate life.
