funeral obituaries

A funeral doesn t have to be family and friends sitting in front of a dead body saying the rosary. The purpose of the eulogy is to pay tribute to the deceased as a distinct individual, with unique talents and gifts, who will live on in the memories of the people who loved him.

It may also cover areas where they made great achievements in their life. Poems can be the perfect way to get across what you want to say. All you have to do is write and talk from your heart, and let your audience identify with your memories and emotions.

In your speech, you can talk about the work that a deceased person did with their church or other religious organization, and share how they touched others lives. If you are still looking for funeral poems, I have written more on the subject which I hope you may find useful. If the person who passed enjoyed the outdoors, maybe a memorial poem with colorful forest or nature-like imagery would speak to the audience, and properly pay tribute to the lost loved one.

A little time and preparation in the writing stage can make a huge difference in the impact of your delivery and can help you and your friends and family in their time of need. It takes time to grow in love, faith and hope.
