funeral readings

When a precious loved one has died, you need prayers and empathy. Grieving for the death of a loved one is a long process that takes time and acceptance.

The details that a funeral home will take care of include the care of the body, the hosting of a wake or viewing, the funeral services either there or in a place of worship and the burial. As much as the poem is written as a tribute to the deceased, it should also be considered as a reassurance to the living. Having a memorial poem or poetry to look back upon can really be an emotional strengthener.

Writing about a person who is no longer alive is very difficult and writing about their death is worse. Organize the materials that you have gathered, pick the data that you will need then prepare an outline. Many families today do not participate in an organized religion or church.

You can include poems, quotations or passages from the Bible, when appropriate. It takes time to grow in love, faith and hope.
